FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is NextLeg free?

Yes. NextLeg is completely free, with no ads and no account. A later optional Pro plan (version 2) will bundle the flight-planning side: dispatch, logbook and the simulator link — everything built on VATSIM data stays free.

Which simulators does it work with?

Any. NextLeg gives you real flights to fly and live network awareness — it does not connect to the simulator itself, so MSFS 2020/2024, X-Plane and P3D all work. A direct sim link is planned for version 2.

Do I need a VATSIM account?

No. The live map and ATC positions use VATSIM's public data feed. You only need a VATSIM account if you want to track your own flight while flying online.

Which languages?

English, Polish, German, French, Spanish and Portuguese — the app follows your phone or you switch it manually.

iPad or Android?

NextLeg launches on iPhone. An iPad EFB mode is planned for version 2. There are no Android plans at the moment.
